VPS is a virtual private server, it is a virtual server on a physical server that allows multiple smaller servers to be hosted on one larger server in addition to being completely isolated. This reduces the cost of leasing the entire server, as many users do not need it. Unlike shared web hosting, VPS hosting gives more freedom to advanced users because there are no limitations in functionality. VPS hosting doesn’t necessarily have to be Web hosting, but everything you can imagine working on Linux distributions.

The VPS server is your property and you have full root access, unlike (Shared) Web hosting where you have very limited (with most providers none) access to the terminal (shell) and certain functions. While web hosting is intended primarily for hosting web applications (sites), the purpose of VPS is not limited by the platform and can be used for various purposes, e.g. to develop your own application working on e.g. Java platforms, video or audio streaming, game/web/email hosting. VPS hosting has guaranteed resources that you can use at any time.

Resources are not shared, all the resources you see are used only by you and no one else. KVM virtualization doesn’t allow the selling of more resources (RAM and space) than the server has.

RAM is the working memory used by all processes on the server. At least 512 MB of RAM is required for the Linux system to function properly. The recommendation is that you have at least 1 GB, therefore we do not have packages under 1.5 GB of RAM.

Simple installations can be done with little or no knowledge, but in the long run, it is necessary for a professional staff to maintain the server itself (updating, adjusting, etc.) and also because of problems that can occur in certain situations.

It depends on what purposes are you using the server, but in most cases it is. We can compare the situation with a car, at some point auto service will be inevitable. Whether it’s done by you, the person you hired, or us – it’s solely your decision.

When you spend your monthly bandwidth i.e. full-speed traffic, depending on the package that you have, you can use 20 Mbps until the end of the month. Of course, you can purchase additional bandwidth at full speed. For example, SMART 3 has 5 TB of monthly bandwidth, which in practice can only be used if you are streaming audio or video content, or if you are using VPS for mass download of large files. Traffic is reset every first of the month.

You can increase the package at any time. In order for package increase to be visible partition resizing must be done and the server has to be restarted, which can result in 2 to 5 minutes of downtime. Unfortunately, due to platform limitations, it is not possible to reduce the package (more specifically space).

The answer is rather simple – cPanel (WHM) is not free. Because we are certified cPanel partners, you get the best price in the region. Depending on how many (cPanel) hosting accounts you have on your WHM, you pay for a license that allows a certain number of accounts. There are licenses for 1, 5, 30, 50, 100 and over 100. When ordering, mark which license you want to purchase. You can increase or decrease the number of licenses at any time.

Depending on your needs. cPanel is certainly a more stable software, which in the web hosting world has no real competition. The CentOS Web Panel (CWP) seems to be the best free alternative to cPanel, but there is also Plesk that you also need to purchase (it is not possible to purchase the license with us).

Hosting i.e. installing and running online games is not allowed on our servers.
